Back in 2001 I started the year with getting laid off! I rebounded 3 weeks later with a new job with another start up company, where I wasn't just an employee number.
Well it was 2001 and the company I went to ran out capital 5 months later. I was unemployed with about 60,000 other IT people in the Washington DC, Metropolitan area.
Jobs were scarce and after getting laid off twice in 6 months my confidence was dropping as the days, turned into weeks, and turned into 3 months where I had no income.
After 6 weeks I swallowed my pride and finally went to collect unemployment. My wife was making $250 a month and we were thankful. I was jobless, soon to be homeless,
with no backup plan. We tore through the savings like ravenous dogs, borrowed money from my parents, my brother, and friends just to pay the bills and keep food in the house.
Well I got a job finally 3 months later, and vowed never to put my family in that position again. I started researching how I could add a spare tire to my career, so all my eggs weren't in
one basket aka my JOB (Just Over Broke). So fast forward a couple of years I have learned from many of the masters out there how to keep out of the poor house.
I'm now wanting to pay it forward and share with you the secrets that they imparted to me.

I like to work at night and this day time restriction doesn't fly for me!
